I have been injured and believe someone else is at fault.  Do I have a legal remedy?

Personal Injury cases must be evaluated on an independent basis.  Tennessee follows the doctrine of “comparative fault”, which means that a plaintiff may recover against a defendant for the defendant’s negligence even though the plaintiff is at fault for a certain percentage of his injuries, as long as that percentage is not over fifty percent.  In many other states (i.e. Alabama), if a plaintiff is as little as one percent (1%) at fault, he may not recover any damages.

If you have suffered an injury, whether in the community or at the workplace, you may be entitled to compensation and/or benefits.
