I want to form a company. What do I need to do?
The first step is to determine what type of organization will best benefit and suit your needs, which is done through a consultation. There are many options - a partnership, a limited liability company, a corporation, and limited partnership, to name a few. Once the legal documents are prepared, they might be required to go to the Tennessee Secretary of State for filing.
